Mesh Prep | What to Expect

Please take note that the information that is provided as you read is a MUST to be included on the form for better understanding. Leaving out details will hinder the process from going smoothly.

  • You will need a reference video(s) or image(s) that properly describes what type of mesh you want. If the reference image/video does not have the exact details on it please either draw on the image/video what needs to be changed or you can Include a very in depth detail exactly what needs to be changed from the reference. Your reference does not need to look perfect only just clear enough to read and understand.

  • If you are using an Artificial intelligence image or video, your mesh will not look exactly as the image/video as it will take more work to  decipher the flaws that Artificial intelligence creates that will make it not logical.

  • This includes info such as the hex code colors , textures type and size if needed.

  • Even though we have talked about the details through social media or on Second Life you still need to apply those same details on the form.

  • If your mesh is a worn item you will need to state where it will be worn.

  • You will also need to state what the purpose of the mesh is for so I the 3D designer will have a better idea how to create the 3D model to make it useable for your need.

This is where the first couple of screenshots will show. Here is the perfect time to request any minor changes to the mesh, such as placement of pieces or they are scaled next to each other or a piece to be re meshed a certain way. Texture/colors seen here is not relevant.

Do not worry about the size of the mesh as a whole in these screenshot as it will be scaled in-world. Any major detail changes to the mesh that was not included on the form requires a fee to redo the design. That will be determined by complexity of the changes.

After you have approve the structure of the mesh to look the way you envisioned it, now it will be time for texturing it. These couple of screenshots will show how the textures and colors are placed on the mesh. Some screenshots will also come from Second Life.

Please understand that any animated textures will not be shown on screenshots taken from the structure part or texturing part within the program.

The screenshot taken from this program is displaying it as PBR texture. PBR and legacy textures will be provided on your mesh if you request to have both.

Here are the final sets of screenshots where your custom will be shown in Second Life on a default setting wind light to show the true colors and textures of the mesh. This is the stage where it is safe to make any changes to the textures ONLY on how it looks on Second Life. After this it will be the moment you have been waiting for which is your custom. It will be sent to you in-world in a folder. (I will only send the mesh once you have paid the full price for it.)
