Animation Prep | What to Expect

A computer screen illustrating a video playback.jpg

Price is determined by the complexity of the animation(s) .

Videos/Images as a reference for animation is needed.

Please understand that animations is a one size fits all due to everyone have different avatar shapes, clipping into body may occur and is out of my control.

Unclear and vague references in forms will get rejected.

  • State whether you want the animation to repeat automatically or play once, think about this depending on what you are using the animation for. Please expect animations that are longer and a big file when created to not be looped when it needs to be cut down into pieces, as I am unable to control how that functions within SL.

  • The bones in Second Life do not work exactly like real bones. Some movements would not look smooth or as real. I am also unable to create fully twerk twerk animation with physics at the moment (lack of knowledge how) - and facial animations.

  • Have a link to the video or video saved on your PC/Phone for the form.

  • State which part of the video you want the animation from by giving a start to finish time stamp ex. " video is 4 mins longer , I want the animation from 0.45 to 3.25 "

  • State which part of the video using the time stamp of the video as a direction on what movements you want to change and have an example of what it will be changed to. (ONLY IF THIS IS NEEDED).

  • State which part of the body you do not want animated by the animation if needed.

  • State whether you want it to override AOs or not or give a priority number from 2 to 6.

  • If your animation is long and complex please expect it to take awhile to create as the exact or rough time frame given will never be accurate but I assure you that there will be updates weekly until your animation is complete.

  • Use a clear video showing the person's full body.

First screenshot video view will be from the animation program. More than one screenshots will be sent as progress occurs. This is where you will see progress from the start to mid and end of the whole animation created. This is a good time to ask for any adjustments on the movements. The model structure of the character moving in the program will not affect how it will be on Second Life, only the movements matter. All animations are coded to move with any human gender on Second Life.

This is where you can see exactly how the animation looks inworld as proof of completion. At this point it is late to make any adjustments on movements unless it is to fix glitches ONLY. How it looks through this screenshot process is how it will look in-world for you as well. This will be the last process of screenshot after approval then sending it inworld to you once its been fully paid for. It will be full perm.
